Here at Milton Abbot, we are a small parish; raising enough money for the upkeep of our church is always a challenge and we rely heavily on fundraising as our main source of income. We have large bills to pay whether the church is open or not.
So as Treasurer I have been looking at ways we can set up so the local community and supporters could consider helping us.
We have the Parish Giving Scheme where you can give a set amount each month and it is quite easy to start. All you need to do is call the Parish Giving Office on 0333 002 1271 and they will ask for your bank details, our parish number (which is 150615589) and Milton Abbot with Dunterton Parish. This gives us steady income throughout the year.
However, if you don’t feel able to commit to a regular payment, a one-off donation to the church when you feel able would be very welcome and would help us to keep the church open and running for the community in the future. If you feel this is something you could do please click the link below. There are set amounts setup, but at the bottom there is a button you can select to enter your chosen amount.
